Jacquie is currently on the air at KFAI Radio 90.3FM & 106.7FM in Minneapolis, Minnesota located at www.kfai.org. Roll and Tumble with Lady J and her Full Bodied Blues program every Tuesday from 3pm to 6pm CST.

Lady J is also a blues entertainer in Minnesota, hosting a blues and jazz open stage on Monday nights at "Arnellia's", the only black female owned night club in the state.

This open stage/open mic night is so popular, it is televised on SPNN Channel 15 & 17 in Saint Paul and on MTN Channel 17 & 19 in Minneapolis. Jacquie and her

Ms Maddix's blues skills shine in many ways. You can find her on stage as an emcee, on television with her newest project "Venus Rising", a half hour program celebrating life, love and the light. Ms. Maddix is also a writer who has penned liner notes for CD projects and has written interviews and CD reviews for the WC Handy award winning internet service: Minnesota Blues on Stage: www.mnblues.com, and the Twin Cities Blues News. Plus, you can find Lady J live on stage, shaking her groove thang as she performs spoken word pieces to live music.

Jacquie was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota but her blues roots are deep in Mississippi, the ancestral home of her family. She continues to support, promote and produce blues artists on her female oriented record label:
